OWCP Accepted Providers

Alliance Health Company provides professional physical therapy and rehabilitative therapy services to employees of federal agencies. We are actively enrolled as medical providers for the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs (OWCP). OWCP administers four major disability compensation programs which provide wage replacement benefits, medical treatment, vocational rehabilitation and other benefits to certain workers or their dependents who experience work-related injury or occupational disease. Our medical practice is able to bill OWCP directly to provide you with treatment for your work-related injuries at no cost to you.

Alliance Health Company employs Physiatrists and other physicians who conduct complete medical evaluations of the patient. After examining the patient’s medical history,  physical condition, range of motion,  strength,  muscle condition, and flexibility, our Physiatrists will author a medical narrative which the patient can use to submit to OWCP (Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs) to explain how their injury developed. This medical narrative can be used to establish the casual relationship between occupational factors and the physical injury you claimed.

If you are in need of treatment for your work-related injury, our physicians can refer you to on-site physical therapy. Our physical therapists then create a personalized program of therapy designed to improve your long term health and physical condition and to help you recover from the injury or illness so that you may return to work in a functional capacity.

Alliance’s physical therapy programs use various treatments and methods such as neuro-muscular re-education, trigger point work, myofascial release, deep tissue work, traction, weight training, electrical muscle stimulation, hot packs, cold compresses, massage, muscle and joint manipulation, and ultrasound to name a few.  Our aim is to help restore body function, improve physical mobility, alleviate pain and discomfort, and to reduce or limit the permanent disabilities of those who are injured or ill due to work factors.
